If successful, you will be invited to join our advanced musical theatre classes in Clapham Junction and/or gain representation from a top children’s agency. Whether your child dreams of gracing the West End stage, captivating audiences on screen, or being the best performer you can be, this programme is the ultimate stepping stone to success.

We require an in person dance audition (you do not need to prepare anything in advance. And a self-tape for your singing/acting audition. More materials and instructions will be sent via email once booked:

Sign-up for your audition above. Details will be confirmed by email. If you are already a WestWayer, you must have signed-up for a place for next term with a non-refundable deposit.
Join the optional self-tape workshop to learn about what make a great self-tape and the process (students only). Additional instructions will also be sent via email if you cannot make the workshop)
Join the dance audition 23 March at our Twickenham studios
Prepare your self-tape audition piece(s) for your acting and singing audition
Submit your singing/acting audition self tape via email or WhatsApp
We will collate individual feedback which our Founder will be happy to discuss via an online zoom meeting with you and the WestWayer. Results for advanced classes will be shared Monday 15 April
If you are successful, you will be joining our advanced classes in Clapham Junction studios from 27 April. Class times are 10am - 1pm.
The agency may feedback separately to WestWay. You may also be asked to prepare an additional self-tape and a meeting will be sent up between Youngn’s agency and the parent / carers. WestWay will support you every step of the way!

Dance audition: You don’t need to prepare anything!
Singing / Acting Self Tape Audition:
Please prepare an Ident: a short introduction to who you are! Include your name, age, height and location.Let us know what you love about the performing arts and please also share some of your interests outside of performing! We want to get to know you!
Please prepare a musical theatre song of your choice. Please keep it short, preferably 1-2 mins max. If you are also auditioning for our summer term musical then you can use the same material.

Please wear all plain black and clothes you can move in.
Please wear shoes you can dance in or be comfortable in bare feet. We will not allow you to dance in socks without shoes.
Please bring water.

We want all our classes to be accessible and a supportive environment.
When you are booking your place, please add any extra info to the ‘Additional Comments’ section at check-out. Please include as much info as possible and a member of a team will be in touch.
Our classes aim to be as supportive as possible and build confidence first and foremost. Auditions can be scary but we lead with kindness and the team want everyone to do well! Feedback will be provided if you are not successful this time with clear guidance on why so we can support you and help you grow for the next one!

Auditions are open to all ages 7+ no matter your experience. We’re looking for raw talent and big personalities. We are there to support you every step of the way and our auditions are relaxed in small groups. Be confident and we can’t wait to see you shine!

You'll be diving into a class of top-tier training that covers all the bases: dance, singing, and acting.
Whether your goal is to reach a pre-vocational level or be the best performer you can be, we've got you covered. These small classes are designed to be both intensive and enjoyable, pushing you to your top performance level and providing you with the technical skills you need.
We're still all about building confidence, nurturing young minds, and fostering a supportive ensemble where every member's growth and artistic journey is celebrated.
These classes are the same price as our regular classes.

I’m nervous! Does it matter if I haven’t auditioned for anything before?
Not at all! We will talk you through every step of the journey. We understand that auditions can be a nerve-wracking experience, and we understand that taking the stage can feel like a leap into the unknown. At WestWay School of Performing Arts, we want to assure every aspiring talent that we're not just a school; we're a family. How does it differ to your usual classes?
These classes are for our most dedicated students. They will be more intensive, pushing you for top-tier training. We will expect a high-level of focus and dedication. Plus you will be required to prioritise WestWay training and performances.
