💃 Dance Audition – In Person 12 September 9-10am
No prep needed! Just come ready to move and show us your energy. Our friendly choreographer will teach you a combo on the day — we want to see how you pick up choreography, notes and feedback, commit to movement, and bring the performance to life.
🎤 Self-Tape Singing/Acting Audition - Send before 12 September
Send WhatsApp us a Self-Tape of you performing an audition song of your choice and sing and act your heart out! Please find the instructions below.
We’re looking for confidence, storytelling, and vocal strength.Already a WestWayer? You must reserve your spot for next term with a non-refundable payment before auditioning.

Please wear all plain black and clothes you can move in.
Please wear shoes you can dance in or be comfortable in bare feet. We will not allow you to dance in socks without shoes.
Please bring water.

SELF TAPE INSTRUCTIONS
Choose your audition song. It can be anything of your choice. Max 2mins.
🎬 Film Your Audition
Here’s how to make it look fantastic:
✅ Film in landscape (that means your phone or camera should be sideways)
✅ Use a plain background if you can—like a wall or curtain
✅ Make sure your head and shoulders are clearly visible🎤 Optional: Add a Little “Ident”
This just means saying who you are at the start of your video.
🎙️ Example:“Hi, my name is Amy and I’m singing “XYZ”
It’s a lovely way to introduce yourself with a smile 😊
👋 Make it clear who you are and what you’re auditing for in the accompanying message
Don’t forget to include your full name in the message so we can find your audition easily.

Our classes aim to be as supportive as possible and build confidence first and foremost. Auditions can be scary but we lead with kindness and the team want everyone to do well! Feedback will be provided if you are not successful this time with clear guidance on why so we can support you and help you grow for the next one!

Auditions are open to all ages 11+ no matter your experience. We’re looking for raw talent and big personalities. We are there to support you every step of the way and our auditions are relaxed in small groups. Be confident and we can’t wait to see you shine!

How does it differ to your usual classes?
These classes are for our most dedicated students. They will be more intensive, pushing you for top-tier training. We will expect a high-level of focus and dedication. Plus you will be required to prioritise WestWay training and performances.
