WHAT WE LOOK FOR

We are an award-winning drama school, and it's all thanks to the incredible staff and students! Our success is rooted in our high expectations, quality teaching, and of course, our outstanding team.

The Current team: We feel incredibly fortunate to have the best teaching squad in the industry! They boast incredible professional credits, are teachers at top drama schools, and come from the best conservatoires. They also have years of experience and Master’s Degrees in education. So we’re on the lookout for someone truly special to join our WestWay family, who's dedicated to our students and shares our passion for the performing arts. Enthusiasm, energy, and patience are key qualities we cherish, and a positive attitude goes a long way in our warm and caring environment.

Building a kind and supportive community is at the heart of what we do, and we take immense pride in the culture we've fostered across all levels of the company. We are a small and close-knit team and having a supportive and friendly work culture is a priority for us. We regularly welcome professional performers and conservatoire students into our team and are flexible with auditions and performance contracts. With this approach, we’ve been lucky to have professionals regularly return to teach at WestWay during breaks from their successful careers on stage and screen.

In this spirit of cooperation, we encourage open communication about auditions and training priorities, so we can plan and support each other accordingly. By doing so, we minimize disruptions, support our team in their wider careers, and ensure our students receive the consistent, top-notch education they deserve.

All team members must have an Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one before they begin their employment at WestWay. We may also ask you to take on additional training in Safeguarding or Chaperoning. We can discuss at interview
