FAQs

  1. What ages are these workshops suitable for?

We have classes to suit all ages. Please check the description. These classes are for fun and you will be learning skills from industry professionals so don’t worry if you find some of it challenging! Class difficulty will vary depending on the performer as well. If you want to know more about the level of a certain class then just pop us an email at enquiries@westwayperformingarts.co.uk

  2. Who can join?

Our workshops are free for our WestWayers. But you don’t need to be a WestWay student to join! Check the age requirements for each workshops and book using the links above. We will be in touch with more information about your class.

  3. Who’s teaching the class?

Cast members from each film or show will run each workshop. This is very exciting as it means you get to learn different performing styles and meet lots of stars from film, TV and the West End! This also means teaching styles will differ and the professional will adapt the structure of the class to best suit their classes. We choose our industry professionals based on their warm and friendly personalities as well as their incredible talent and experience.

  4. I’ve booked. What information should I get before the class?

You will get a payment confirmation straight away. You will be sent a reminder of your class with some instructions and information on how the class will work. If online, you will receive your link up to 1 hour before your class begins. You will be sent these emails for each class you’ve signed-up for individually. i.e if you have booked 4 classes you will receive 4 separate reminder emails and 4 separate links.

  5. What’s the set-up of the Workshops?

Structure of the classes may differ depending on the star but we start with a quick introduction so you know what the plan for the class is. Then we usually do a warm-up. After that, the expert teaches the choreography or the song and we perform it a few times. You can then ask the stars some questions in a Q&A.

  6. Can I ask questions if I’m unsure of a step, note or direction?

Of course! We want to make sure you get want you want from the class and all our professionals are very friendly and supportive.

  7. Can you send me a recording of the class?

We’re sorry but we can’t record the classes.
