The Our Way programme will give our WestWayers the skills and confidence needed to progress in today's creative industries. They'll get work experience for their CVs, develop their creative & business skills, work with industry pros, receive high-quality mentoring, and get paid!

GEORGIA: TEACHER
Georgia successfully gained a place at a top pro college, Bird. One of our first WestWayers, she's been welcomed back as a Teacher for our mini students who already love her! We're so excited she's now part of the WestWay faculty.
HANNAH: STAGE MANAGER
Hannah is currently studying Technical Theatre at Kingston College and has been part of WestWay from day 1 as a MT student! She is now part of our Production Team as Stage Manager and has been the SM for numerous WestWay Productions. She is brilliant and has such a bright future in the industry!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
WestWay has a collaborative culture across all levels and sections of the company and always strives to deliver the best. We will give you lots of support but we will expect the highest quality work with the Our Way programme. We want to see you excel so you will be mentored by an experienced WestWay team member and/or industry professional throughout the programme.
You will be required to have regular check-ins with your Manager and present your work to the team. You will need to work closely with your fellow Our Way participants, WestWayers and faculty staff.

You may apply for and take on more than 1 role. Roles are paid and bonuses may be given when targets are exceeded.
OUR WAY FINANCE MANAGER
Track costs, spending and opportunities across the Our Way programme. You will be in charge of making sure the programme is financially viable and sustainable. You will work closely with Events, Marketing and Merchandise and report on profit, loss, return on investment and report back to the WestWay team.
EVENTS MANAGER
WestWay has a very strong community and now COVID restrictions are a thing of the past, we want to organise more events, and social trips outside of the studios. You will manage the events calendar and all activities that take place outside of classes and performances.
There is a great deal of creative freedom when defining the events. The events may include theatre trips, after show pizza nights or other events of your choice.
With the support of the WestWay team, you will define the events, track costs, schedule and organise venues and tickets and work with the Marketing team to publicise them.
You will need to ensure that all events cover the costs of the team members, tickets/venues and your own wage. You will also work closely with the Our Way Finance Manager to organise events to help fund the programme. This is a great first step into understanding fundamentals of business!
MARKETING MANAGER
Work with Events, Social Media and the Founders of WestWay to define the marketing strategy and content across the company. You will be required to find new marketing avenues, define the Go To Market plans for classes and holiday schools, and create top content that aligns with the WestWay Business & Brand strategy.
SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT
You must be over the age of 13 to apply for this role. For Safeguarding reasons this will be led by a WestWay team member but you will support in defining and creating the content, creating targeted ads, reporting KPIs such as impressions, reach, CTR, and work closely with Marketing for aligned campaigns.
MERCHANDISING MANAGER
Our WestWay clothing and merchandise needs a refresh! Find suppliers, get feedback from the WestWayers, design the merchandise and take your products to market whilst working closely with the rest of the Our Way team.
